“Music has always played a massive role in my life. With both my parents as professional musicians, my Dad playing saxophone and clarinet and my Mum a violinist, it has surrounded me for as long as I can remember. I began my classical piano training at age 4 at the Royal Academy of Music in Dublin and proceeded to have lessons there in both cello and vocals. I took part in various choirs and orchestras throughout my childhood and teenage years as well as playing parts in musicals and local theatre productions.

I started teaching piano at age 16 in my local music school. I would accompany my Dad doing charity gigs at old people's homes around Dublin and began a career singing at weddings and funerals.

At the age of 15 I began writing my own compositions which led me to study songwriting at Leeds Conservatoire with keyboards as my primary instrument. Through university, I joined a band which gigged in Leeds and performed as a solo artist across many venues”.
